Montauk Theatre


Old Montauk Theatre: Stood at the southwest corner of Main Avenue and Madison Street. This popular Vaudeville venue was around for about twenty years, the early 1900's until 1923.

 


The New Montauk Theatre: Opened up in January 1924 and was one of the pre-eminent venues in Northern New Jersey for live stage shows, silent and then talking movies and other forms of popular entertainment.

 


The Lincoln Hotel Building & New Montauk Theatre: A very successful venue for movies, live entertainment, etc. Attached to the then new and luxuious Lincoln Hotel and the fabulous Ritz Ballroom, known as an upscale catering venue and dancing hall.
