The USDA Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children is commonly known as WIC. WIC is a successful public health nutrition program that provides vouchers for nutritious foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding education and support, and community referrals for income eligible women who are pregnant and postpartum, infants and children up to five years old.
