This position is the main point of contact for the Building Department. Responsibilities include reviewing applications and processing construction permits, determining applicable fees, scheduling inspections, providing information and maintaining records. The successful candidate must demonstrate professionalism and strong customer service skills, be able to work independently, and be organized and detail oriented. DCA Technical Assistant Certification preferred; knowledge of the provisions of the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code as they relate to the activities of the office, required. Knowledge of Spatial Data Logic software is preferred.
