The purpose of the hearing is to obtain public comment on a grant application to be submitted by the City of Passaic to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection’s Green Acres Land Acquisition and Park Development Grant Program. The application will discuss funding request for various park improvements for Christopher Columbus Park, Columbia Park, Colonel Johnson Park, Main Memorial Park, Third Ward Park, Armory Park and Pulaski Park. The application will also discuss camera systems, lighting systems and rubberized surfacing at various park locations. The meeting will take place at 330 Passaic Street, Passaic, New Jersey 07055. The City Council members will be available to discuss the project and answer questions. All residents are encouraged to attend and participate.
